Sunset & Symphony @ Bok Tower

Sat. Nov. 7th @ 5:00pm. The symphony begins at 6:00 however, plan to arrive early--it takes a while to park, get up to the tower and get settled.

We want everyone to sit together. We are planning on being on the west side--furthest from entrance and will have a flag or sign. Also, you can call Jada 978-8861 or Shelly 241-1362 to find us when you arrive.

We think it would be fun to share picnics, so everyone please bring an appetizer type food and a sweet. You will also want to bring your own drinks, utensils, plates, napkins, blankets and/or lawn chairs, etc! Also, don't forget mosquito protection.

Tickets are on sale at Bok Tower, Citizens Bank and Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce. They are $12 for members, $15 in advance, $20 day of.

Rock the Universe!

We'd like to invite everyone to Rock the Universe @ Universal Studios on Friday, September 11th from 4pm to 1am.  Click here to see a list of bands coming.  Some are David Crowder, Swithfoot, and Jeremy Camp.  Tickets are $45 per person and the deadline to sign up is this Sunday, September 6th.  We can car pool or meet at the gate.  If you have questions, please email Matt Simpson at matt@fbclw.com

Let's Luau!!

We've all gone are separate ways this summer with time off from school, vacations, and more - so let's come together for an end of the summer Luau! First Baptist is hosting a church-wide celebration on Sunday, August 16th, 5-8pm on the shores of Lake Starr (home of Paul & Robin Gerrard). The party will be complete with a roasted pig, canoe races, and more! Bring your family (and lawn chairs) - can't wait to see you there!!
